Although apart from the noise and bustle of ‘downtown’ Lochcarron, it is still just a 5 to 10 minute (downhill) walk to the lochside and the main road of the village, where you will find the village hotel offering drinks and food, a very good roadside café, and an excellent bistro for those who wish to push the boat out a little bit more.
There is absolutely nothing we can do about the fact that it is all uphill coming back!!!!
The bedrooms were completely re-furnished and equipped for the opening, with every care taken to ensure that your stay is both comfortable and pleasant. The spacious rooms provide you with a perfect retreat to unwind at the end of a busy day, offering a cuddle sofa to snuggle into with a book while keeping an eye on that view, or to enjoy a cup of tea while catching up on your favourite soap.
Breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs, which has patio doors allowing you to sit and enjoy your meal while watching the ever changing light on the hills and waters of the loch.
Just a wee note: our rooms are up a flight of stairs. They might, regrettably, be unsuitable for some people. Also, we are a pet owning family – and while every care is taken to restrict their access to guest accommodation, if anyone in your party is allergic to either cat or dog hair this may not be the place for you to stay.
Do please feel free to contact us direct if you would like to discuss either of the comments above.
