The Area

With an abundance of wildlife and scenery, Lochcarron is an ideal location from which to explore further the west coast of Scotland with easy access to the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Torridon and Gairloch.

Lochcarron has several garages, a Spar shop and a medical centre

Places of Interest

A short drive away, Attadale Gardens offers visitors the chance to explore the conservatory, the sunken garden, Japanese garden and water gardens over paths that travel through woodlands, over bridges, beside waterfalls and exotically planted ponds.

Lochcarron has its own 9-hole golf course in a beautiful lochside location. The clubhouse cafe offers a wide variety of drinks, snacks and meals from morning until late afternoon.

With a local station just 4 miles away at Strathcarron, the train journey to the Kyle of Lochalsh has to be one of the most scenic rail routes.
